Our Installation Process

Most residential installations are completed in 1-3 days depending on the size and complexity of the project. A typical 1,000 sq ft backyard can often be completed in a single day. Larger projects or those with complex drainage needs may take longer. We'll give you an accurate timeline during the consultation.

We remove your existing lawn as part of the installation process. This includes grass, thatch, and a portion of the topsoil. The excavated material is hauled away and responsibly disposed of. If you have a specific preference for the removed materials, let us know during consultation.

We don't require you to be home for the entire installation, but we do recommend being present for the initial consultation and final walkthrough. If you'll be away, we'll coordinate access and ensure you receive updates throughout the process. Many customers prefer to be available for questions that arise during installation.

If you have an in-ground sprinkler system, please mark the heads before installation. We'll work around them carefully. In many cases, sprinkler systems become unnecessary with artificial turf, but we can discuss options for capping or removing them as part of your project.

Absolutely. We carefully work around trees, flower beds, garden features, and other landscaping elements. Our team takes special care at edges where turf meets existing plantings. We can also integrate new landscaping elements if desired.

We monitor weather conditions and typically schedule installations when clear weather is expected. If unexpected rain occurs, we have techniques to work around it and may adjust our schedule. Heavy rain that affects base preparation will require rescheduling that portion, but we won't compromise on quality.
